Steadymile is a mileage log for iPhone. It uses your phone's location and motion to notice when you drive and records each drive (start and end places, time and distance along the route). You classify drives as business, personal, medical, charity or moving, and Steadymile makes reports from them. It has no account; your log is stored on your device and, if you use it, in your own iCloud.
Steadymile keeps a log and does arithmetic with the published IRS standard mileage rates. It does not give tax, legal or accounting advice, and it does not decide what you may deduct or claim. You are responsible for what you claim and for checking your log. Ask a tax professional about your situation.
Automatic tracking depends on your iPhone, its settings and iOS, which can stop or delay background apps. Steadymile alerts you when it detects that tracking has been interrupted, but it cannot promise to record every drive. Check your drives regularly and add any that are missing.
Tracking is free. Steadymile Pro is sold as a yearly or monthly subscription, billed through the Apple App Store under its terms. For a limited time (until April 15, 2027) it is also sold as a one-time Founder lifetime purchase, which does not renew and gives Pro for as long as the app is offered. The price is shown before you buy. If you keep a yearly subscription renewing without a break, its renewal price stays at the price you first paid (the Price Lock); a new subscription after a cancellation is at the price then shown. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. We never see or handle your payment card.
Because Steadymile has no account, your log exists only on your device, in your own iCloud if you use sync, and in your device backups. We cannot see it and cannot restore it for you. You can export every drive as a CSV file at any time, free, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Don't use the app to break the law, or to interfere with the service or other people's use of it. We may suspend accounts that do.
The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including a drive that was not recorded or a figure on a report, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
These terms are between you and New Day Industries LLC, not Apple. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app, and Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries.
We may update these terms; the date above changes, and we say so in the app when the change matters. These terms are governed by the laws of the place where New Day Industries LLC is organized. Questions: support@steadymile.app.
